Our Director

Tania MacLeod is the Founder and Director of The Stage Door Performing Arts, formerly Tania’s Strictly Dancing and has over 30 years of teaching experience. She holds a Licentiate Diploma from The Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD) and has been an Examiner with ATOD across the world for over 12 years. Tania also holds a Diploma in Dance Teaching & Management, Cert IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma in Counselling which she is extremely passionate about.

Tania is certified as an Acrobatic Arts Trainer and Examiner, is a registered NDIS provider, and is certified in the Rhythm Works Integrative Dance program. Tania has been recognised in a range of State and Regional business awards receiving the following accolades:

Her business, The Stage Door Performing Arts (TSD), is a leading performing arts school established in the Hills District of Sydney since 1995. TSD has developed an outstanding reputation for promoting an inclusive, values based culture, where everyone is welcome no matter their age or ability. Over the last 30 years, Tania has shared the joy of the performing arts with over 10,000 students, trained more than 80 teachers, and conducted four international Disneyland dance tours.

Tania has travelled extensively examining students at schools throughout Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She has enjoyed adjudicating internationally, and in public, private and special education schools throughout Sydney. Tania is also a regular motivational speaker on topics which encourage women in their journey of self belief.
